Award conference for science and technology of Hubei province was held in Wuchang district on June 25th, 2013. Li Hongzhong – the secretary of the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee attended the conference, and presented the outstanding contribution award on science and technology for the year 2012 to the Academician Mr. Qing Shunquan.

322 scientific and technological achievements (persons) from Universities, research institutes and enterprises have been awarded with science and technology prize of Hubei Province. The important paper ‘key technology and its industrialization for construction of long-span bridges’, written by Qing Shunquan,Pan Dongfa and Song Weijun from MBEC, has been granted with scientific and technological progress award in the conference.
